In 1991 Dr. Mike Farrell returned to his hometown of Binghamton New York to help form Broome Obstetrics and Gynecology. Since that time he has had the privilege of working with many amazing women and their families in the greater Binghamton region. His focus has involved developing close relationships with his patients, along with ensuring the best outcomes related to their pregnancies and ongoing GYN care. His hope is to provide the most comfortable and complete care, applying his love of medicine and skill in the professional that he continues to enjoy and feels privileged to perform to this day.
Dr. Farrell’s professional interest include; providing care for uncomplicated and at risk pregnancies, Minimally Invasive Surgery including Robotic surgery, surgical and nonsurgical therapies for urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.
When not practicing medicine or assisting with leadership roles in the hospital, Dr. Farrell and his wife Corinne enjoy traveling and visiting their four daughters as well as golfing, skiing, off-road driving, hiking, exploring in the New York State wilderness and relaxing at Quaker Lake.

Dr. Laura Bishop has been in private practice since 2003. She moved from her home state of Michigan with her husband and daughter in 2005 when her husband was offered a professorship at SUNY Binghamton. She has been working with Broome OB/GYN ever since. She thoroughly enjoys caring for women and developing strong relationships with them as they move through the many transitions of their lives; adolescence, pregnancy and childbirth as well as menopause. Her specific interests include general and high-risk obstetrics, general gynecology, including office and surgical management of a broad range of benign gynecologic conditions, adolescent gynecology but most importantly empowering women to seek their best self at any age through a healthy lifestyle, nutrition and fitness.
When Dr. Bishop is not in the office, she is a consummate cheerleader for her daughters many activities. She also is an avid swimmer with the Binghamton University Masters Swim Team and an outdoor enthusiast who loves to ski or take a quiet hike in the woods.
Dr. Morrison joins us from Philadelphia, where she recently completed her residency. She is new to Broome County and has moved here to be close to her in-laws and within driving distance to her family in Canada. During her training Dr. Morrison served as chief resident and received recognition from the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine for excellence in obstetrics and from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists for excellence in minimally invasive gynecology.
Her professional interests include management of high-risk pregnancy and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Morrison delivers evidence-based care in a compassionate setting. She believes communication is key to keep her patients safe, comfortable, and informed.
In her free time, Dr. Morrison maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys cooking and traveling with her fiancé. Her favorite place to visit is The Bahamas, where she called home for 20 years.
Mary is a Broome County native, who has had the privilege of serving the gynecological needs of multi generational families in the community since 1992.
Mary began her career working closely with Dr. James Kondrup, where she gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility and endometriosis, as well as all aspects of routine gynecological care. Most recently, she was associated with Dr. Bai Lee, where she continued to grow her practice in gynecology, as well as surgical care and assisting.
Mary is known for her kind and compassionate nature, her unique ability to put her patients at ease. She feels it is an honor and privilege to serve her patients health care needs and to participate in their care.
Mary is excited to be joining Brome Obstetrics and Gynecology and to be able to continue offering her experience and services to women of all ages in our community.
In her free time, Mary can be found enjoying time with her family, and especially her 4 lovely grandchildren. Mary is an avid swimmer, an outdoor enthusiast; she loves music and volunteering in the community.
